Set your tracking period and start

Start monitoring and Stop monitoring, on the right of the same dialog, are the date range CIMS actively watches your selected profiles. Content published outside this window is not captured automatically. Both dates are required before monitoring can start.
  • Single-day event: 1 day before → 2 weeks after. Teasers go up the night before; recap posts and Reels often land 5–10 days later.
  • Product sendout / gifting: Day of dispatch → 4–6 weeks after. Delivery times vary and creators post on their own schedule.
  • Campaign with contracted creators: Full campaign period + 2 weeks. Covers late deliveries and organic follow-up content.
  • Always-on brand mentions: Rolling / ongoing. Catches organic coverage you did not plan for.
Post limit per creator: Caps how many pieces are captured per profile — leave it Unlimited unless you are deliberately rationing credits on a large list.
Set the window wider than you think you need. Extending a window afterwards does not retroactively recover Stories that have already expired. It is far cheaper to over-cover than to lose coverage.

Reviewing what comes in

Everything CIMS matches lands in one place for you to review, approve and organise.
  • The matched view: Content that matched your keywords, hashtags and mentions appears here automatically. Review it and confirm what belongs to this activation.
  • The All posts view — the one people forget: Creators frequently forget to tag the brand correctly, or mention you only once in a sequence of eight Stories. The All posts view shows you everything the monitored profiles published during your window, tagged or not, so you can browse through and manually include the pieces that keyword matching missed.
Build this into your process: after every event, do one pass through All posts before you report. In practice this is where a meaningful share of your coverage is found — the untagged Story, the post that spelled the brand differently, the Reel that only showed the product.
Always on backup: CIMS saves all Stories and posts from monitored profiles during the tracking window. Even if a creator deletes something or a Story expires, your saved copy remains available for review and reporting.

Insights and analytics

As content comes in, CIMS compiles the performance data automatically. No spreadsheets, no asking creators for screenshots.
  • Hit rate: The share of monitored creators who actually posted. Your single clearest measure of whether an event or sendout landed.
  • Number of activations: Total pieces of content captured across all creators and platforms.
  • Activation types: The split across Stories, Reels, posts and video — useful for shaping the next brief.
  • Estimated impressions: Total estimated reach of the coverage.
  • Video metrics: Deeper performance on Reels, TikTok and YouTube specifically.
  • Creator-supplied data: Where creators share their own insights, these can be added to enrich the report.
Use hit rate as your headline number when reporting internally. "38 of 50 invited creators posted, generating 112 pieces of content and an estimated 2.4M impressions" is a far stronger sentence than a raw reach figure on its own.
